Care Copilot is AI software that reads an assisted living facility's resident and staff files, checks them against Florida's ALF rules, and tells you what a surveyor from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is likely to cite, with the evidence and a draft plan of correction. We are a UK company. Care Copilot is opening early access to a small group of founding Florida operators. It is not yet available for general use in the US.
What does Care Copilot do for a Florida ALF?
Care Copilot does three things:
- Audits every file, not a sample. It reads resident records (health assessments, medication observation records, contracts, care records) and staff files (training certificates, background screening, licenses) and checks each one against Part I of Chapter 429, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 59A-36, Florida Administrative Code.
- Flags likely deficiencies before a survey. Each finding names the statute or rule it relates to, quotes the document or record it comes from, and suggests a likely severity using AHCA's class I to IV scheme.
- Drafts the fix. You get a prioritized action list with due dates and a draft plan of correction that your administrator reviews and edits.
It works from the documents and exports you already have. It does not replace your EHR or care management system, and it does not replace your own judgment or legal advice.
Why now?
Florida created a new Memory Care Services license in 2026, and AHCA must adopt the rules for it by June 1, 2027. Under SB 1404 (Chapter 2026-102, Laws of Florida), an ALF that serves memory care residents, or advertises memory care, will need the new license. A facility already licensed when the rules take effect has six months after that date to get it. AHCA began rule development in June 2026 and opened a second round in October 2026.
That means new standards for memory care training, safety, admission criteria, contracts and advertising, on top of the existing ALF survey. Operators who know where their files stand today will have less to fix later.

- Our free readiness self-check asks about your facility, not your residents, and collects no resident data.
- We do not claim HIPAA compliance or SOC 2 certification today.
Take the free readiness self-check, or apply for early access to be a founding pilot operator.
